David Tower
David Tower, age 65, of Riverview, formerly of Sackville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Murray and Mabel (McFadden) Tower. David did carpentry work for many years for Martin Rowe Construction, then built homes, and finally worked for Dorchester Penitentiary as an instructor, retiring with 25 years service. A car enthusiast, he loved attending car shows, he enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Shediac, he liked Old Time Country Music, and animals. He will be sadly missed by his wife Norma Sanderson, Riverview; son Ethan, Oshawa, ON; brother Victor (Linda), Westcock, Richard (Shelley), Sackville; sister Norma (Charles) Ward, Moncton. He was predeceased by an infant brother Stanley, sister Doris Fagan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Friday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11 am, Pastor Hugh Davidson officiating. Burial will take place in the Westcock Cemetery in the spring.
