It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Joyce announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 9th, 2010 at the age of 98 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Dinah Hussey (Douglas) of Cox's Cove and Emma Murrin (Gerald) of Hughes Brook, son, Robert (Alma) of Cox's Cove, sisters: Emily Park, 101 years of age at the Long Term Care Center, and Sarah Cox, 95 years of age of Cox's Cove, also a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2002, son William in 2001, and his parents Robert & Sarah Joyce. Visitation will take place at St. Nicholas' Anglican Church, Cox's Cove, NL on Friday, December 10th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 11th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Nicholas' Anglican Church, Cox's Cove, NL on Sunday, December 12th, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery, Cox's Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
