Surrounded by her loving family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, of Ann Clarkin (nee Evans) of the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home, age 73 years.
Beloved mother of Geraldine Myers (Russell), Anne Marie Deacon (Colin), Mary MacLean (David), Jamie Clarkin (Susan), Bobby Clarkin and Wayne MacLeod (Lynn). Ann is also survived by grandchildren - Gabriel Myers, Emmylou, Jessie, Chelsea, Alex, Brianna and Brandon Clarkin, Christopher, Adam and Kendra MacLean, Wayne and Kim MacLeod; great-grandson Nathan MacLean.; sisters - Alice MacDonald (John) and Jean McGeoghegan (Charlie - deceased) and brothers - Leo Evans (Ann) and Gerald Evans (Bea). She was predeceased by her children's father - Gerald Clarkin; parents Tom and Agatha Evans; brothers - Frank, Jack, Bill and Roy Evans (Rena - deceased); sister - Kathleen Evans; and son-in-law, Terry Clarkin.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Friday, Dec. 10, 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Cuthberts Church, St. Teresa, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Woodward Group Home would be appreciated.
