It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thaddeus (Ted) Doucette announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the age of 86 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Doreen, three sons: Leonard (Karen) Doucette, Richard (Bernice) Doucette, Mercier (Vicki) Doucette, all of Ontario, two daughters: Sharon Doucette of Ontario, Mary (Paul) Gear of Kippens, 7 grandchildren: Chantal, Cotey, Ashleigh, Jason, Amanda, David, Krista, 4 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Ellen Doucette and his five sisters and seven brothers. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
