STRONGE, G. JUNE – 79, of Spencer’s Island, Cumberland Co. passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Spencer’s Island, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Virginia (Morris) Colwell. She is survived by her husband, Leonard; a daughter, Deborah Fitzpatrick, Amherst; sons, Gerald Garrett (Nancy), Ottawa; Kevin Garrett (Eleanor), Spencer’s Island; brothers, Edward (Sheila), Bathurst, N.B.; Walter (Rose), Saint John, N.B.; David, Kingston, Ont.; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Spencer’s Island Union Church, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Sandra Riddell officiating. Burial in the Advocate Cemetery.
