(Retired salesman from Regatta Ford). Passed peacefully away after a brief illness in the presence of his loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, December 11th, 2010. Patrick Joseph Shortall age 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Helen (Murphy); grandson Joseph Coady; brothers Michael, Bernard, John, Frank and Paul. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Florence (Murphy/Farrell); children Marilyn (Wayne Tilley), Ann, Tish (Steve Coady), Michelle (Pat Dunn), Ian (Judy), David (Debbie) and Leslie (Ron Thompson); grandchildren Christina Coady, Jennifer and Jasmin Beresford, Sidney and Jacob Shortall, Dawson and Conor Shortall, Jillian Dunn and Michael Tilley; brothers Tommy (Bride), Kevin (Joan), Leonard (Peggy) and sisters-in-law Sheila Shortall, Kay (Richard), Mary (John), brothers-in-law, Peter Murphy and Karl McDonald. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially Herk and Rose Phillips, Dave and Julie Tucker, John and Kay Molloy, George Dalton, Gerald and Gabe O'Reilley. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 2-9 p.m. and Tuesday 12 noon-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 15th from St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
