NEW GLASGOW - Jessie Eva Murray, age 83, of Little Harbour Road, New Glasgow, passed away December 13, 2010, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Goshen, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Maude (Marshall) Green.
Jessie was resident of Little Harbour Road and had previously resided in Westville and on the Egypt Road in Trenton.
She is survived by sons: Rodney, Riverton; Sandy (Sharon), Stellarton; Kenneth (Marie), Scotsburn; John Wayne (Becki), Westville; daughters: Dorothy (Don) Lumsden, Trenton; Darlene (Gordon) Kitson, Mt. William; Diane (Dale) Wallace, Pictou Landing; Evelyn (Kenneth) Fraser, Westville; Janet Murray (Buff MacDonald), Linacy; Gloria (Fred) Reid, Linacy; Sylvia (Graham) Purvis, Pine Tree; Barbara (Jim) Robertson, River Road; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Green, Sylvester; and Donald Green, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; daughter, Margaret; sister, Dorothy Smith; and brother, Bill Green.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joanne Vines officiating. Burial will be in Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour.
