Marilyn Wilson
Marilyn Ellen (Bruce) Wilson, loving wife of Joseph Wilson of Grand Bay-Westfield passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born 1963 in Saint John she is the daughter of the Earl William and Etta (Storey) Bruce. Marilyn graduated from Simonds High School 1981 and worked as a Nurses Aid for the Loch Lomond Villa for many years. She graduated from NBCC with a diploma in Geriatrics; previous she worked as a Fish Packer for Connor Brothers and lastly worked with her brother Harold delivering flyers for New Brunswick News. She will be sadly missed by her parents Earl and Etta, husband Joe; sons David Bruce (Lisa) of Sherwater, NS, Adam Manuel (Brittany) of Saint John and Michael Paley of Grand Bay-Westfield; grandson Damien; brothers Harold Bruce of Saint John and Eric Bruce (Amie) of Willow Grove; sisters Jean Paley (Kenneth) and Cathy Desylva (Gerald) both of Saint John; nieces and nephews: Shellie, Vanessa, Amy, Ronald, Taylor and Samantha and many friends. She was predeceased by brother Ronald Bruce and her first husband William Paley.
Following cremation, A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
