At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, December 13, 2010, of Mary Ethelyn Euphemia (Lynne) Archambeau of Rice Point, age 78 years.
Dear mother of Rebecca MacKenzie (Tom Lutz) and Chepe MacDonald (Myra). Grandmother of Ashley and Sophia MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents, Donald and Flora "Lola" MacDonald, and by her son, Stephen MacKenzie. Lynne dedicated her life to serving children with disabilities and served as a therapist in the children's units of Clarke Institute, Toronto, and of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in P.E.I. As an only child, she was particularly close to her cousins whom she considered as siblings.
The arts were her passion throughout her life; in particular music and visual arts. Lynne was a devoted member of the Canadian Kennel Club. She was passionate about breeding and training dogs.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
