Helen Storey
Helen Gertrude Storey born in Boston Massachusetts, on July 1st 1928 the daughter of the late Gladis (Wiggins) and Ralph Wilson, widow of the late Gerald A. Storey passed away on December 10th 2010. She was a long time member of the Christ Church Parish Church. She was an avid knitter and quilter. She was a member of Saint Anne's Quilters, St. Dunstan's Quilters and Elm City Quilters. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her violets and orchids. She loved her dog Tim. Helen spent many winters in Florida. She had battled with cancer for a long time, but tried to keep as active as possible. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, son Stephen, brother Jim, grandson Jeffrey and son-in-law Gary Perley. She is survived by daughters Margaret Dickens (Peter) of Fredericton and Mary Perley of Burlinghton ON, daughter in law Leslie Storey of Fredericton, grandchildren; Richard (Reanne) Perley of Austin TX, Melanie Storey (Ed Benoit) of Fredericton, Gerald (Kelly) Storey of Fredericton, Michael (Rebecca) Dickens of Fredericton, Marnie Dickens of CT, great grandchildren; Cole and Portia Perley of Austin TX, Abby and Kate Storey of Fredericton, Maggie and Laura Benoit of Fredericton, Cohen Dickens of Fredericton. A memorial service at Christ Church Parish Church will be held on Friday December 17th, 2010 at 11 AM with Rev. Anthony Kwaw and Rev. John Sharpe officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Burial will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery in the spring. Donations may be made to the Christ Church Parish Church. Bishop's Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements (458-1885).
