Gerald Cormier
Gerald Cormier age 82 formerly from Pré d'en Haut died in Waltham MA on December 13, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Louis Cormier and Séraphine (Richard) He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose (Ouelette) and nine children; Claude Cormier of Waltham, Geraldine Barter of Waltham, and her companion, Joe Zdon, of Woburn, Martin Cormier and his companion, Sheryl Rudis, of Methuen, Richard Cormier and his wife, Debbie, of Billerica, Louis Cormier and his wife, Bonnie, of Waltham, Eugene Cormier and his wife, Arlene, of Hudson, Janice Caissie and her companion, Dave Heighes, of Groton, Maurice Cormier of Waltham, and Deanna Arseneau and her husband, Raymond, of Maynard, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Aldérice (1976) also of Waltham. He is survived by brothers and sister; Emery (Doris), Dieppe; Herman (Aurelia), Pré d'en Haut, Zella (Gerald Landry), Dieppe; Norma (late Arthur Gautreau), Moncton and sister Irene, Grand Falls, NB, Claude (Claudette), Sandwich, NH; and Richard (Roseline), Dieppe. Gerry was a wonderful person, great family man, generous to one and all. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling and cards. He had a passion for old time fiddling. He was an avid Boston Red Socks and Bruins fan. Gerry was well known as a building contractor for many years. He was a long time member and past manager/president of the French Club.
Funeral services will be held in Waltham, MA on Friday December 17, 2010.
