WESTVILLE - Barbara Jean Webber, 48, MacKay Street, Westville, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010 as the result of a fire at her home.
Born in New Glasgow, Barbara was a daughter of the late Russell and Cecilia "Sissy" (DeYoung) Webber.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Louise (Michael) MacDonald, New Glasgow; sisters-in-law, Wendy Landry, Garden of Eden and Brenda Webber, Moose River; nieces and nephews, Janice (Eric) Mosley, Cory (Christa) Webber, Maria (Matthew) Sangster, David Webber, Evan Webber, Jaime (Chris) Bush; grand-nieces and nephews, Jacob Webber and Olivia Sangster, Byron Bush; uncle, Elmer (Ann) DeYoung, New Glasgow; aunt, Blanche Fraser, New Glasgow and special cousin, Carol Stewart, New Glasgow.
She was predeceased by her sister, Ester; her brother, Raymond; step-father, Michael Sager (who passed away with Barbara) and several aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. A memorial service for Barbara and Michael will be held 2 p.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
