Leamont, Ellen Ruth - 61, Upper Onslow
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Ellen Ruth Leamont on December 14, 2010 in Truro. Ellen was born on May 31, 1949 in Onslow Mountain. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Margaret (Sterling) Leamont. Ellen is survived by her partner, Arthur Hill, Upper Onslow; her children, Michael Hatt, Montreal and Darcie Hatt (James Oxley), Truro; grandson, Christian Hatt, Truro. Ellen lovingly built her life around her family and pets, her home and beautiful gardens. She had a flair for decorating and her passion for gardening was contagious. Ellen believed in living each day to its fullest and always looked eagerly to the future. She will be greatly missed by family pets Zinnia and Lilli. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18th from 2-4 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Interment in Onslow Island Cemetery.
