SHAPTER, Edith A. — Passed away after a lengthy illness at the Masonic Park Nursing Home on Saturday October 11, 2008 Edith A. Shapter age 85 years. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Sarah Shapter. Leaving to mourn son John (Bonita), daughter Bernice Petherbridge. Grandchildren Paul Shapter (Vanda), Rob Shapter (Karen), Keith Petherbridge and Cheryl Petherbridge. Brother Joseph Shapter. Five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends and the staff at Masonic Park Nursing Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday Oct. 15th at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
