It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Catherine M. Bushor, age 88, on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Ingonish, Catherine was the daughter of the late Archibald and Marcella (MacLennan) MacKinnon.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice (Ronald) Mancini, Millville and son, Edward Bushor (Sheila Marlene, and her daughter, Erica), North Sydney; her only two grandchildren, Courtney Dawn Mancini (Freddie Ford), Sydney Mines and Ashley Margaret Mancini (Brent Aucoin), Sydney Mines; her sisters, Margaret MacLean, Ingonish and Emma McKrous, British Columbia.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Edward Bushor and her brothers, Alec, Frank, Johnny, George, Danny, William and Paul.
There will be no visitation by Catherine's request. A private family service will be held at the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
