Rogersville - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Thursday, December 16th, 2010, at the age of 88, passed away Lilian Poirier, ex wife of Hilaire Poirier. Born November 20, 1922, she was the daughter of late Pierre Richard and late Alma Arsenault. She is survived by two daughters : Violette (Bob) McKinnon of Cold Lake Alberta and Linda (Guy) Zammith of Cocagne; two sons : Richard (Évangéline) of McKees Mills, NB, and Bobby (Eve) of Petrolia, Ontario; one sister, Rina (late Martial) Daigle of St-Louis; two sister in law : Aurelie (late Lloyd) Richard and Colette (late Normand) Richard. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Tashyana, Alethia, Jason, Joshua, Alex, Abby, Kimberly and Tammy; six great grandchildren : Chelsea, Taylor, Beau, Tyson, Liam and Aaron as well as many nephews and nieces. Lilian was predeceased by three brothers : baby Lloyd, Lloyd and Normand.
Lillian was part of the Auxiliary Ladies of Rogersville.
Family will be receiving relatives and friends, Sunday, December 19th, at the Salon 'La Colombe' 11325 route 126 in Rogersville, from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm, Monday from 9am until the departure. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Francois-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville, Monday, December 20th, at 11am. Donation to the Heart and Stroke society or the Canadian Kidney Foundation will be appreciate. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to 'La Colombe' funeral Cooperative, Tracadie-Sheila.
