Audrey Irenie Jessie Jensen, 84, of Rose Ave., Trenton, passed away Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by her family.
Born in England, Audrey was a daughter of the late William and Laura (Sutton) Copsey. Audrey had been a resident of Canada for over 50 years having emigrated from England. She was a former employee of K-Mart.
She is survived by daughters; Karen (Steve Green) Jensen, Trenton; Kristine (Rob) Carr, Truro; Pauline (Trevor) Wamboldt, Halifax; son; Paul Jensen, Trenton; grandchildren; Peter (Meghan) and Michelle Jensen; Sarah and Tom Carr; Hailey Wamboldt; great grandchildren; Riley, Ryen, Courtney; brother, John Copsey, England.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marcel; great grandson, Jaden; one sister, three brothers.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday from the funeral home chapel with Rick Watson officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Reception to follow the burial at the funeral home.
