Mr. Robert A. Nerland, age 75, of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2009. Robert was born on September 3, 1933 at Lanigan, SK and lived most of his life in his home province. He spent the past few years in Moose Jaw, doing what he loved most, working on antique cars. Robert is predeceased by his parents Melvin and Mary Nerland, one son Alfen, as well as several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his beloved Marion Barber, his three children, including Koel and Hali, two granddaughters Stephanie and Jayd, and numerous friends and acquaintances. The Graveside Service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to join the procession may do so at 10:30 a.m. at W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of choice, would be appreciated. In living memory of Robert, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
