STELLARTON - Arthur Roy "Art" Little, 67, Birch Hill Drive, Stellarton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 25, 2010, in Cumberland Regional Hospital, Amherst after a short illness.
Born in New Glasgow on August 12, 1943, he was a son of the late Norman and Isabel (Cormier) Little, Westville.
A resident of Stellarton for the past 30 years, Art was an employee of Michelin Tire Ltd. for 31 years until retirement. He was an avid reader of the Auto Trader due to his fascination with cars and trucks. Over the past two years, he spent many enjoyable hours working with his brother and nephews in the construction business. On numerous days, he could be found having breakfast at Gram's Place with the gang.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 39 years, Gail (Black); sister, Marie (Girvan) Harrison, Gagetown, N.B.; his brother, Robert (Violet), Westville; nieces and nephews, Heather and Jenna Harrison; Elizabeth (Kevin) MacIntosh, Robert N ((Mandy), Kolbe (Megan), Gerard and Bernadette Little; great-nieces, Sophie, Grace and Gabriel MacIntosh, and sister-in-law, Sharon Black, Malagash.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant brother, Dougie.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Aiden Kingsbury officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
