Yvonne Leger, 86, wife of the late Roger J. Leger of York Street, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital. Born November 3, 1924 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Épiphane and Elmire (Cormier) Belliveau. She is survived by her five children: Donald of Bouctouche, Bob (Linda) of Dieppe, Claudette Geldart (Clarence) of Moncton, Terry (Shirley) of St-Antoine, Janice Blake (Michael) of Waterloo, ON; thirteen grandchildren: Ginette, Marc, Mathieu, Suzanne, Donna-Lee, Jérémie, Ashley, Tyler, Danielle, Jeremy, Meagan, Christopher, Natalie; three step-grandchildren: Tammy, Crystal, Corey; four great-grandchildren: Christopher, Xavier, Lilliane, and Miquo; a sister, Irene White, many nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband, Yvonne is also predeceased by a brother, Norman, and four sisters: Geneva, Lorette, Élise, and Dorice.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Wednesday, December 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, Moncton, Thursday December 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
