It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pritam Kaur Sangha on December 21, 2010 at the age of 87.

Pritam is survived by son Dilbag Sangha and daughter-in-law Surinder Sangha; grandchildren Jackie (Tom) Hughes, Paul (Angela) Sangha, Goma (Dave) Ghag and Nicky (Rajan) Maddh; great grandchildren Gemma Hughes, Serena Ghag, Jayda and Jett Sangha, Maanas and Noor Maddh.

She was predeceased by her husband Naranjan (Nanjo) Sangha in March 2006.

Born in Punjab, India on April 1, 1923, Pritam came to Canada with her son Dilbag in 1962. She spent her years as a homemaker, providing a warm and wonderful environment for Dilbag and Surinder to raise their family. Pritam was also a very active volunteer with the Kamloops Sikh Cultural Society. She leaves behind many people who love her and will miss her dearly.

The Sangha family would like to express their gratitude to Pritam's brother Sarwan Singh Dhillon and his family for their love and support.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street. Following the service, a life celebration and prayers will be held at the Sikh Temple, located at 700 Cambridge Crescent.
