On Thursday, December 23, 2010 Mr. Bill Fowkes passed away peacefully at Kamloops Hospice Home at the age of 85 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Stella and two sons William (Kathy) of Quesnel and Bob (Sylvia) of Kamloops; his six grandchildren Keith (Vanessa) of Ottawa, Claire (Calum) of Vancouver, Curt (Lindsey) of Prince George, Kara of Vancouver, Rob of Edmonton and Debi of Regina and his brother Dennis of Vancouver.
Bill was predeceased by his father, mother and three brothers Jack, Fred and Eric.

Bill was born October 16, 1925 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He served with the Navy on the Atlantic during WWII. He worked as a Conservation Officer with the BC Government for 37 years, then for seven years Bill volunteered with the R.C.M.P. Community Policing in Kamloops.

The Reverend Father Fred Weisbeck celebrated the Funeral Mass on Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Kamloops.
