Ann passed away peacefully at her home in Ajax, Ontario, on Saturday, December 18, 2010. Predeceased by her father, Hugh and mother, Kay Gillies (Fardy). She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, Michael; loving mother to Mikaela and Patrick; mother-in-law, Bev; sisters-in-law: Pat and Ann Marie. Sadly missed by her brothers: Hugh (Judy), Neil, Geoff (Allison) and Ian (Molly). Will always be remembered by her Newfoundland relatives; her aunts: Mary (Ken) Murphy (Toronto), Bernie (Murphy), Ann, Cede, Bun Gillies (St. John's); uncle Ted (Rosemary) Gillies (Sarasota, Florida); cousins: Krista, Karen and Greg Snow and family, Susan and Chad Mason, Meg and Noel Browne and family (St. John's), Bill (Dolores) Gillies (St. John's); and many other relatives in the United States and Canada. Ann was a fantastic teacher, great organizer and loved by all. May she rest in peace.
