NEW GLASGOW – Catherine V. ‘Cathy’ O’Connor, 46, New Glasgow, formerly of Piedmont, passed away, Monday, June 29, 2009 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Allister Cyril O’Connor, Piedmont, and the late Elva Mae (Gosbee) O`Connor.
Cathy had been a self-employed salesperson, who was well known as the “Crystal Files Lady”. She was a very caring and kind person who always put her family first.
Surviving besides her father, Cyril; are her spouse, Dylan Lambeth; step-sons: Tristan (Deionie) Lambeth, New Glasgow; Brendan and Nathan Lambeth, Victoria, B.C.; two step-grandchildren; godson, Dustin Dunn; sister, Chris Simpson, Piedmont; sisters-in-law, Jessie O’Connor, Caroline O’Connor, Priestville; brother-in-law, Mike McDonald, Linacy; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her mother, Elva, she was predeceased by infant son, Corey; sister, Audrey Ann McDonald; brothers, Wesley and Allister.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. There will be no funeral service at Cathy’s request.
