Passed peacefully away at the Royal Columbian Hospital in British Columbia on Saturday, December 25, 2010 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Daisy Pollett, age 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Pollett. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Judy and husband Bob Arniel of St. John's, NL; sons Jeff and wife Kathy, grandchildren Stephen and Samuel of St. John's, NL; Jason and wife Katherine, grandchildren Caitlyn and James of Port Coquitlam, BC. Aunt Vi (John Hodge) of St. John's; Uncle Graham of Paradise, NL. Brother and sisters-in-law Gordon and Marguerite Pollett of Scarborough, ON; Florence Brown of St. John's; Hilda Lane of Buchans, NL; Frank and Phyllis Pollett of Gander, NL; Helen and Fred Pardy of Bishop's Falls, NL; Fred and Sandra Pollett of Kanata, ON and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander, on Sunday, January 2nd, from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 3rd, at 2 P.M. from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
