November 1, 1920 - December 17, 2010. On December 17, 2010 our beloved Mom and Nanny went peacefully into the arms of our Lord. Born November 1, 1920 in Millertown, Ruth left her beloved Newfoundland when she married George Shideler and immigrated to the U.S. in 1942. Predeceased by George in 2000, she is survived by her children Patricia (Bert) Reitsma, John (Suzanne) Shideler, Betty Shideler and Janet Shideler. She will be sadly missed by her grand and great-grand children. Funeral service was held at Emmanuel Anglican Church in her home of 41 years, Arnprior, Ontario. Interment of cremated remains later in Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery.
