LEBLANC, ALVA 1918-2010 Alva Leblanc, 92 of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Saint-Paul de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday December 30, 2010. She was married to the late Robert Leblanc (1993). Born in Saint-Paul de Kent on March 23, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Eloi and the late Judith (Richard) Leblanc. She will be sadly missed by her four daughters Bernette Williams of Bradford Vermont, Aline Levasseur (Danny) of Glasstonbury Ct, Maureen Albert (Carl) of East Hartford Ct, Odette Coon (Jim) of Stafford Ct, three sons Euclide of East Hartford Ct, Gerald (Betty) of Tolland Ct, Norman of New Hamphire, her brother Ovila (Lily) of Moncton, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Alva was predeceased by her sister Jeanne and three brothers, Aimée, Siméon, and Roger.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Paul on Monday January 3rd, and 2011 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul Church on Monday January 3rd 2011 at 4:00 pm with internment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
