Marguerite Babineau - 1921-2010 - SAINT- LOUIS- DE-KENT - Marguerite Babineau, age 89, wife of Eloi Babineau, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, passed away on Friday, December 31st, 2010 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent. Born in Petit Guimond Village, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lucie (Guimond) Comeau. She will be greatly missed by her husband; her daughter, Huguette Babineau of Saint-Louis, her sons, Ludger (Viola) of Saint-Louis, Edmond of Kouchibouguac and Pierre (Diana) of Bowmanville, ON. Her grandchildren; Maurice, Paul, Donald, (Cécile), Patricia, Chantal, Ginette (Richard), Annette (Leon), her great grandchildren; Daniel, Christine, Justin, Jeremy and Brandon. She will also be missed by her sisters; Ozélie Richard (Gérard), Yolande MaGill (late Eric), Céline Comeau (Émery), Lucienne Daigle (Elmer) all of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Emilia Richard (Vincent) of Saint-Ignace; two brothers; Cyriac Comeau (Eva) and Roger Comeau (Alfreda) both of Saint-Louis; her sister-in-law; Esola; her adopted sister-in-law; Béatrice Richard (late John Dan) of Moncton and many nephews and nieces. Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by a daughter, Marie (infant); sons, Willie; infants, Vincent, Yvon, Rodigue; sisters, Alexina (late Lionel), Emilia; two brothers, Simon and Yvon.
Resting at Thompson's Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Monday from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent and will be officiated by Father Jean-Bernard Mallais. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Donations to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
