Shirley LaCombe, 78, of Glace Bay, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, with her daughter Shirleon 'Shirley Ann' and son-in-law, Paul Eugene 'Jeanie' Burta by her side.
She will always be missed by her daughter and son-in-law for her love, guidance and special ways. Shirley will never be forgotten; she will always be remembered and loved by her two special grandsons, Jack and Jim, whom she referred to as her, 'Jack of Diamonds' and Jimmie as 'Her Heart.' She was very proud of her grandchildren, they both blessed her with three beautiful great-granddaughters, Emma, Lily and Charli, who gave her strength, pride, happiness and lots of love.
There will be no visitation or funeral mass. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home in Glace Bay.
