Entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2009, Edna Burry, in her 85th year, formerly of Greenspond, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by her husband Clarence; brothers-in-law: Max Wecks, Bill Burry, George Burry, Nelson Loder and Jake Button; sisters-in-law: Mildred Wecks, Lilly and Trixie Burry. Survived by sons: David (Pamela) of Surrey, B.C. and Daryl (Robin) of St. John’s; three loving grandchildren: Jonathan, Dara and Leah; great-grandson Noah; sister Shirley Button of Catalina and brother Harry Carter of Toronto, ON; special sister-in-law Margaret Loder of St. John’s; special cousin Doug (deceased) wife Rose Burry of St. John’s; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
