MOORES, Catherine M. (Pomeroy)— Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family on October 13, 2008, Catherine Moores, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Philip (1996) and her sister and best friend Mary Vallis (2008). Leaving to mourn her son Bill (Elizabeth); three grandchildren: Doug (Patricia), Joanne (Will Pinsent) and John (Maureen) of Calgary. Five great-grandchildren and a large number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including those at the Meadow Creek Retirement Centre. A special thank you to the doctors and staff of 4 West, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Teresa’s Church, Mundy Pond Road on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. with interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
