Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, June 29, 2009, Mark J. Fitzpatrick, age 76 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Marian Clemens-Fitzpatrick; three sons: Jimmy, Fabian and Tony (Helen); grandson Tony Jr. Also leaving to mourn his step-children: Tony Clemens (Heather), Ralph Clemens (Lorna), Michelle Clemens (Shawn Walsh), Jackie Meaney (Dave) and Danny Clemens (Christa); step-grandchildren: Sam and Christopher Clemens, Alex and Tyler Meaney, Amanda Clemens, Andrew Walsh, Ashley and Abby Clemens; brothers and sisters: Bridget Tobin, Laura Tilley, John Fitzpatrick (Margaret), Anna Fitzpatrick and Marie Clemens; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Michael Berman, Dr. Furlong, Dr. Keough, Dr. Douglas Taylor, the EKG Department and all the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for your care and support. At Mark’s request and wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Mark may be made to the SPCA in honour of his love of dogs.
