PORTER, Beatrice –Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home, on October 13, 2008, Beatrice Porter in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Reginald; brothers: Maxwell and William; son-in-law Robert Saul. Leaving to mourn daughters: Elaine (Dave) and Joan; sons: Roy (Cavell) and David (Shirley); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters: Elizabeth Ashe, Nova Scotia, Evelyn Moffatt, Mass; many nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 16 at 2 p.m. from Church of the Ascension, Mount Pearl. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Agnes Pratt Home or charity of one’s choice.
