It is with deep sadness but profound respect that we announce the passing of Alice, with family by her side. She now walks with her beloved husband John, the one she pioneered with, laughed with, loved with, cried with and yes, more than once yelled with.

Alice and John raised four children and in turn had a hand in raising ten grandchildren, and in her words enjoyed twelve great grandchildren because she could always send them home.

Alice was born on September 18, 1936 and the world was made a better place for it. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter was infectious once you heard it you had to join in. She had an amazing ability to know when you needed a hug or a swift kick. She will be dearly missed and cherished in many hearts. Her "Can Do" attitude was admired and respected by all who knew her.

Alice leaves behind her four children Larry (Linda), Ron (Wendy), Sharon and Helen (Vern); her grandchildren Cindy, Heather, Carey, Chris, Trinidy, Cody, Shawna, Tanya, Brody and Jody, as well as her older brother Bill, sister-in-law Marge and family. Also left to cherish her memory are the 12 apples of her eye her great grandchildren. Also her beloved dog, Buddy, who only she could see the jewel in disguise he was.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alice's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society of your choice.

Life is only 10% and attitude is 90%.
She believed in what you put out for, you got back.
So rest easy Mom and Gramm's.
Keep the coffee on.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend many heartfelt Thank You's to the trauma staff, the step-down staff and the 7th floor staff at Royal Inland Hospital. You are all un-sung heroes.
