BOYER, Valentine Mary, was born November 4th, 1928, on a farm west of St. Louis, SK. She passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2009, at Prince Albert, SK, after a short stay at the Victoria Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.
Val is survived by her four brothers and their wives, Lionel (Gertrude), Ovide (Pauline), Gerald (Lorraine), Nelson (Claudette), and several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Léonie Boyer, and a sister Léontine, aged 10 months.
Val passed her life fulfilling God’s commandment of “Love Thy Neighbour” and spent much of her time helping people, especially the elderly. No doubt, when she entered her new home of eternal happiness, not only was she welcomed by God, but also by her Mom & Dad, many relatives and a large group of friends.
Prayers will be held in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. and a mass will be held in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 3rd, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Valentine to the charity of your choice.
