Susan Lorraine Angevine-Patriquin

Angevine-Patriquin, Susan Lorraine - 40 years of age, Collingwood. It is with great sadness that family and friends announce the passing of Susie on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Brad; three beautiful daughters, Tessa Rose, Gracie Anna and baby Abbie Faith. She was a daughter of Thelda Angevine, Truro, and Gary Angevine, Oxford. In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandmother, Jean Patriquin; sisters, Sharon (Bernard) Hunt, Bayhead; Debbie (John) Cameron, Oxford; Lisa (Allan) MacEachern, Amherst; Kelly Stonehouse, Truro; parents-in-law, Lyall and Cheryl Patriquin, Collingwood; brother-in-law, Greg (Margo) Patriquin, Collingwood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also included are sisters in Susie's heart, Melissa Wells and Charlene Colborne. Susie was predeceased by sister, Julie; nephews, Nathan MacNutt and Jordan Cameron; brother-in-law, Steven MacNutt; maternal grandfather, Lambert Patriquin; paternal grandparents, Elvin and Mary Angevine. Susie, a graduate of Oxford Regional High School, was a very caring person who touched many lives with her warm smile and generous heart. Her life centered around Brad, their girls, family and friends. She also enjoyed music, reading, dancing, concerts, four-wheeling and time at the beach. Susie's work career was spent at Sunset Adult Residential Centre with people whom she considered family. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 7 at MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930). A celebration of Susie's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8 at the Collingwood United Church. Following the funeral, friends are invited to remain at the church for refreshments and fellowship. Family flowers only.
