KENNEDY, Flora K.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 7, 2011, Flora K. Kennedy of Carbonear, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents Alexander and Christine Hogan, brother John "Jack" Hogan, parents-in-law Dagleton and Elizabeth Kennedy, special friend James "Jim" Hunt. Leaving to mourn husband Patrick; six daughters: Sharon (Steve) Leonard, Ontario, Diane Kennedy (Noel) and Carolyn (Gerry) Ryan, both of Carbonear, Joanne (Stephen) Walsh, St. John's, Judy (Gary) Hoyles, Carbonear and Denise (John) Sheppard, Conception Bay South; three sons: Jerome (Rachel), St. John's, Paul (Ann Marie), Harbour Grace and David (Cindy), Carbonear; sixteen grandchildren; one sister Bridget (Bern) Crawford, Carbonear; sister-in-law Hannah Thomey, St. John's, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Carbonear Dialysis Unit c/o TCP Health Foundation.
