LAKE, Grace E.- October 11, 1924 - January 6, 2011. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Grace E. Lake of Fortune announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son Allison (Jean) Lake of Campbellford, ON; daughter-in-law Marion Lake of Fortune; brother Howard Lake (Eva) of Fortune; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by husband Byron; son Harry; parents Harry & Jane Lake; brothers: Russell and Cecil; and sister Geraldine. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Fortune on Friday, January 7th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; and Saturday, January 8th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church in Fortune. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Grace's memory, donations may be made to Fortune United Church Organ Fund.
