1935-2011 - Rose-Marie Caissie, 75 of Bouctouche passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, January 8th, 2011. She was married to the late Laurie Caissie (2002). Born in Bouctouche on December 5th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and the late Locade (LeBlanc) Duplessis. She will be sadly missed by her seven children, Denise LeBlanc (Louis) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Linda Richard (Jacques) of Saint-Grégoire, Laurise Léger (Guy), Victor (Carole), Gerald (Monique), Benoit (Nicole) and Jean-Claude all of Bouctouche, her eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her seven sisters, Léona Cormier, Viola Hicks (Edward), Bernice Hébert (Jim), Noella Duplessis all of Bouctouche, Rosemonde LeBlanc (Ronald) of Bathurst, Louisa Breau (Léo) of Saint-Antoine, Thérèse Caissie (Vincent) of Moncton, and one brother Robert (Germaine) of Bouctouche, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one son Normand and one brother Victor.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday, January 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
