Passed peacefully away at his residence on July 1, 2009, Donnie (Don) Halfyard. Age 57 years. Beloved son of the late Wallace and Doris Halfyard. Donnie leaves behind with many loving memories one brother and two sisters: Bob (Lorraine) Halfyard of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, Joyce (Harry) Lily, Lower Sackville, N.S. And Linda (Ed) Greene, St. John’s, N.L.; nephews and nieces: Sean Lilly, Lower Sackville N.S., Jeff Greene (Monique), St. John’s, N.L., Erin Lilly (David), Halifax, N.S., JoAnn Sooley (Rod), Grand Falls-Windsor, N.L., and Susan Halfyard (Jared), Charlottetown, P.E.I.; great nephews Jake, Max, and Matthew. Also a very special friends, Debbie Gallant, St. John’s, N.L.; as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th, 2009, at Barrett’s Chapel.
