FROTTEN, Jeanette Mary - 85, Tidal View Manor, Yarmouth, and formerly of Quinan, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Manor. Born February 5, 1925 in Quinan, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Muise) Frotten. She was a homemaker, having also been a factory worker in Massachusetts. Surviving are her children, Joseph D. (Donna) Frotten, Massachusetts, and Joanne (Walter) Dean, Alabama, as well as grandchildren, Matthew (Beth) Dean, Michelle Frotten, Allison Dean, and Jason Frotten, one great-grandchild, Elliott Graham Dean. Also surviving are sisters, Leona Girard, Montreal, and Marie (Ronnie) Wheeler, Vermont. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Dennis Frotten; brothers, Basil in infancy, Arthur, Edward, Basil, Walter; sisters, Lena Hopkins, Anna Muise, Regina Muise, Bernice Muise, Anne Comeau, Marion Morrison and Maude Denney. Visitation took place from 7-9 Monday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth (902-742-3626). The funeral mass was held on Tuesday, January 4, at 1:00 p.m., at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, Quinan, Father Wieslaw Papuga officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105), or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to nieces Phyllis Pothier and Betty Anne Frotten for all the love and care they showed Jeanette in the last years of her life.
