BOURQUE, Louise Adèle - 78, Amirault's Hill, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 27, 1932 in Hubbard's Point, she was a daughter of Regina (Melanson) Doucette, Hubbard's Point, and the late Alexandre Doucette. In her younger years, Louise worked as a housekeeper. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Amirault's Hill. Aside from her mother, Regina, she is survived by a daughter, Judy (Bruce) Belliveau, Amirault's Hill, as well as by her granddaughter, Suzette Belliveau, Halifax. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Ramie Doucette, Yarmouth; Helen Doucette (Tony), Plymouth; Alcide (Patsy) Doucette, Benjamin (Marie) Doucette, both of Hubbard's Point; Bernie (Linda) Doucette, Tusket; Cora Frost (Joe), Pubnico. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley George Bourque, and a brother, Leonard Doucette. Visitation took place from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 Thursday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth (902-742-3626). The funeral mass was held on Friday, January 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault's Hill, Father Maurice LeBlanc, CJM, officiated. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Lodge That Gives, the Tri-County branch of the V.O.N. or to a charity of choice.
