1920 - 2011 - Gabrielle M. Gamlin of Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at the age of 90. She was a resident of l'Auberge du Soleil. Born in Campbellton, NB on January 31st, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles N. Roy and the late Marguerite (Arsenault) Roy. She was predeceased by Leonard W. Gamlin, her loving husband of 68 years, on December 12th, 2010. She was a loving wife and mother. She will be sadly missed by her children: Joan Wong (Dr. James), Ottawa, ON, Louise Gamlin-Bourgeois (Claude), Moncton, NB, Ronald Gamlin, (Odette Ménard), Ottawa, ON, Lucille Gamlin-Desjardins, Moncton, NB, Nancy Gamlin-Légère (Paul-Emile), Barachois, NB, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves in mourning several nieces and nephews. She was Roman Catholic. She was a long time member and a former President of the Beauséjour Ladies Curling Club, a long time member of the Moncton Golf Club and the Lions Centre's Seniors Bridge Club. Thank you to Dr. Hubert Dupuis and the staff of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital for all the wonderful care she received. We also thank the staff at l'Auberge du Soleil for making her very comfortable for the past two years.
