Mary Agnes MacDonald, 92 passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at Taigh na Mara.
She was the daughter of the late Norman and Annie (MacLeod) MacDonald formerly of 20 Boyd St., Glace Bay.
She worked in Boston for several years, returning to Glace Bay when she retired. She was a member of Newsome United Church and UCW.
She was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Janet, Olive, Isabel and brother John.
Mary is survived by several nephews and nieces in British Columbia and also by cousins, Neila Johnston, Margie MacAulay, Kay MacAulay and Nancy Travers.
At Mary's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Loch End Cemetery, Catalone.
Memorials in Mary's memory may be made to Newsome United Church, St. Paul's Presbyterian Church Building Fund or to Catalone Cemetery.
