Maxwell Fudge
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Enos Fudge of Lewisporte announces his sudden passing at Pleasantview Manor on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at the age of 86. He was a retired self-employed businessman with a great love for the outdoors, and was in his element fishing and hunting. Maxwell was predeceased by his parents, Samual and Patience, his sons Cyril and Lewis. He will be forever loved and missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Millie; sons Wilson (Loretta), Lionel (Carol), daughters Eileen (Guy), Juanita (Danny), Loretta (Brian), daughter-in-law Georgina, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother Truman (Belle). Also leaving to mourn are a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at St. Matthew's United Church by Rev. Calvin E. Ginn and Rev. Arthur G. Elliott on Dec. 30, 2010. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Pallbearers were his grandsons Angus Curlew, Craig Hillier, Kent Fudge, Kristopher Fudge, Jason Sabourin and Robert Fudge. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
