Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elias P. (Dick) White announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by four sons: Scott (Debbie) of Nova Scotia, Brian (Rita) of Stephenville, Paul of Nova Scotia, Keith of Ontario, four daughters: Colleen (Sylvain) Audette of Toronto, Doreen White of Toronto, Beverly (Darrell) Driscoll of Lake Simcoe, Ontario, Lisa (Julian) Cassar of Toronto, one brother, Eric (Christine) Rideout of Corner Brook, one sister, Joan Rideout of Scarborough, Ontario, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Irene White on March 2, 2008 and his three brothers, Wilson (Bill) White, James White and Gordon White. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday, January 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Community Church, Hansen Highway, Stephenville with Majors Roy and Louise Perry officiating. Interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
