Alice Flora Williams passed away on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009. Alice was born on February 10th, 1914, in Tadmore, SK. She married Kenneth Stanley Williams on April 10th, 1939. Alice and Ken moved to Moosomin, SK, from Sturgis in 1956, where they took over the B.A. Service Station, which later became the “Williams Service Station”. Alice put many long years of work into the service station. In 1998, Alice and Ken moved to Moose Jaw, SK to be with their family. Alice kept active with the “Eastern Star” ladies for many years and also enjoyed every outing that she could do to watch her great-grandchildren play their sports, or do their school concerts. Later, Alice moved into Pioneers Lodge Nursing Home, where she lived for three years. Alice participated in all the activities and especially enjoyed the visits from children. Alice is predeceased by her husband Kenneth, and only son Barry Williams. Alice is survived by her daughter-in-law Eva Williams, grandchildren Karl (Kathy), Connie (Larry), Ronda, Kenneth (Shawna), and seven great-grandchildren; Brock, Sheldon, Shailynn, Levi, Jessica, Amy, and Aaron. Alice will always be remembered in our hearts for all the years to come. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send a charitable donation of choice to Pioneers Lodge Nursing Home in Moose Jaw.
