Pearl Elizabeth Creelman

Pearl Elizabeth Creelman - 85, Bedford and formerly of Truro, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at Ivany Place, Bedford. Born in Halifax and raised in Hants County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Ellen Paul (O'Toole) and Lyle Paul. Pearl joined the Airforce in 1943 and served as a wireless operator during the Second World War. She moved to Montreal, married and had one child. She returned to Halifax and worked for Mills Brother's and MSI until the early 70's. She resided in Truro working for Crossley Karastan for 15 years until she retired. Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Louis H. Creelman and younger brother, Audley Leon Paul. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Halifax); first cousins; Beatrice Hennigar (Andrew O'Toole), Ruth Reader (Arthur O'Toole) and their families. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral service at 2 p.m., both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made to any charity. Her favorites were Salvation Army and causes directly related to the well being of animals, S.P.C.A., W.W.F. and Hope for Wildlife.
