Ernest Cusack
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ernest B. Cusack of Fredericton on January 13, 2011 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was 85. Born in Butternut Ridge, Havelock, NB, he was a son of the late Marshall and Margaret (Price) Cusack and husband of the late Theresa Elizabeth (Doherty) Cusack. Ernie was a veteran of WWII, serving overseas with the Carleton York Regiment, and employed with Elmtree Concrete as a Truck Driver retiring after 30 years. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by sons Ernest (Gail), Andy (Ann), Kirk, Bob (Marilyn) all of Fredericton; daughters Brenda Porter (Doug) of Fredericton, Cora-Lynn Colford (Michael) of New Bandon, Janice Breton (John) of Smithfield, Margaret Sutton (Paul) of Kingston, ONT, Beverly Michaud of Fredericton; 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Maisie Sherwood, Annie Price, and Jean Carter; brothers Donald, Clayton, Hamilton, Lawrence (Joe) and Robert Cusack.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Private service will be held. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery Field of Honor at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers will be Peter, Lisa, Christopher and Jeffrey Cusack, Brandon and Bradley Michaud and Tanner Colford.
