The death occurred suddenly on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, as the result of a highway accident of Jared Roy Perry, cherished son of Justin and Christine (nee Haywood) Perry of Mill River East, age 23 years. Born on July 31, 1985, in Summerside, P.E.I. Loving father to Brynn Perry and dear brother to Justina and Curt. Beloved grandson to Elizabeth (Betty) Haywood of Mill River East and Alice Perry of Peterville. Special cousin to Ryan, Jillian and Scott Haywood. He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles. Russell (Cindy) Haywood of Mill River East; Allison and his wife, Paulette, of Toronto; Gerald and his wife, Geraldine, of St. Catherines; Leonard and his wife, Claudette, of Toronto; Oliveanne Gaudet of St. Catherines; John Perry of Toronto; Bernie Perry of Peterville; Ida (Ralph) Richard of Harper Road; Marie (Stephen) Perry of Toronto; Freda (John )Gaudet of Anglo Tignish; Angela (Leonard) O’Rourke of Greenmount; Doris (Jackie) Arsenault of Nail Pond. He is also survived by the mother of his child, Ashley Pridham. He will also be sadly missed by his many great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Marcel Perry and Roy Haywood. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., then to the Alberton Baptist Church for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
